The Blanket Ministry at Zion Lutheran Church in Tamaqua recently sent out 110 covers to Victim Resource Centers in Schuylkill and Luzerne counties and to fellow area churches that serve people in need of food, clothing and blankets.

Velma Mantz, Jane Springer, Jayne Steigerwalt, Beverly Batman, Carol Dietrich and the late Jean Derralso participated in the blanket making through the summer and fall months.
