Laura Ziolko, 68, of Brockton later died from her injuries after being struck by a vehicle in front of the ABC Hi-Rise (222 East Broad Street/US209) in Tamaqua yesterday evening (Wednesday, October 15, 2014).
The incident occurred shortly after 6:30 PM during heavy rainfall.
A police report states that Ziolko, who was walking with a cane, crossed in front of a vehicle driven by Scott Yasson of Lansford.
Tamaqua Patrolman Michael Hobbs is the investigating officer.
