WATER MAIN LEAK IN HOMETOWN; REPAIRS WILL CONTINUE INTO THE NIGHT

Water Main Leak, Mahanoy Avenue, SR54, Hometown, 10-10-2014 (5)Tamaqua Water Authority workers and other municipal employees are working to repair a water main leak along Mahanoy Avenue (SR54) in Hometown.
A number of homes around the break have little to no water pressure during the repairs, which are expected to continue late into the night.
The leak, located across the street from the Hometown Farmers Market, was first spotted around 5:30 PM today (Friday, October 10, 2014).
Currently, there is no water boil advisory.
