PINK LIGHT WALK HELD IN TAMAQUA (VIDEO); SPEAKER STRESSED IMPORTANCE OF ROUTINE BREAST CANCER EXAMS

Pink Light Walk from Bungalow Park to Depot Square Park, Tamaqua, 10-4-2014 (6)Scouts and volunteers with the Tamaqua/Panther Valley Girls Scouts Service Unit held their Second Annual Pink Light Walk on Saturday, October 4, 2014. The walk started at the Bungalow Park pavilion and ended at the Depot Square Park.
The event included a speaker, refreshments and drawings.
Four time breast cancer survivor Nancy Betz, of Hometown, spoke about the importance of both women and men getting tested for breast cancer – no matter your age.
