TRACTOR TRAILER STRIKES POLE AT FIVE POINTS IN TAMAQUA

Tractor Trailer Strikes Pole, Five Points Intersection, SR309, US209, Tamaqua (12)Around 1:30 PM yesterday (Saturday, September 27, 2014), a tractor trailer turning east from SR309 (Center Street) onto US209 (East Broad Street) at the Five Points ended up with tires after swiping a pole at the intersection. The logo in the side of the trailer showed the truck was from Transport America.
Tamaqua Police remained on scene until a tow crew could remove the trailer.
