The Tamaqua Street Machines Association (TSMA) is holding an Antique, Classic and Special Interest Car Show at Phillip Ginter Field in Summit Hill on Sunday, September 21, 2014. The Summit Hill Diligence Fire Company is co-sponsoring the event.
The show, which lasts from 8 AM to 3 PM, will include many special interest vehicles.
Classes will include:
stock 1900-1964; stock 1965-1989; 1964-1973 Mustangs; 1953-1989 Corvettes; 1969-1989 Camaros and Firebirds; foreign sports cars to 1989; commercial trucks to 1989; stock factory muscle cars between 1961 and 1974; metal body street rods to 1960; fiberglass body street cars (kit cars); street machines from 1961-1999; custom trucks, including vans, to present; special interest stocks to present (Ford, GM and Chrysler); special interest modifieds to present (Chrysler, Ford and GM); special interest modified foreign cars.
Prizes will be awarded in various categories, with judging to be done by the public. Awards will be presented for best of show and Hard Luck Oldest Stock car.
