Family and volunteers are holding their Third Annual Nicholas Zeigler Memorial Fishing Derby on Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 8:30 AM to 4 PM at the Rosemount Camping Resort, 285 Valley Road, in Tamaqua.
Fishing starts at 8:30 AM for children under 16, with adults starting at 11:30 AM. Fishing ends at 4:00 PM.
Cost is $5 for kids and $10 for adults.
Trophies and prizes will be awarded all day.
In addition, a large Chinese Auction is being held in the resort’s community room. Doors open at 9 AM, with auction starting at 2 PM.
Proceeds benefit non-profit children’s programs.
