Firefighters, family members and volunteers held their Fourth Annual Matthew Tyler Aungst Memorial Softball Tournament this past weekend at the Little League Field in Lansford.
This tournament was held in memory of the late Matthew Aungst of Lansford, who passed away on May 30, 2011; and the late Dave Midas of Weatherly, who passed away October 26, 2013.
Participating were Lansford Fire Company, Nesquehoning Fire Company, West Penn Fire Company, American Hose Company of Tamaqua, and Citizen’s Fire Company of Tamaqua.
Tournament winner was Citizen’s Fire Company of Tamaqua.
