Pictured are volunteers that helped during the last Donation Drop-Off and Tamaqua Community Giveaway held Saturday, August 30, 2014. Donations and volunteered are also needed for the next event scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2014.
These events are held the last Saturday of the month. Donation drop-off is from 8 AM to 9 AM. Almost all donations are accepted.
Giveaway (for residents with a 18252 zip code) starts sharply at 9:15 AM.
If you are able to help, please stop between (7 AM and 9 AM) for set-up or between (9:45 AM and 10:30 AM) for teardown.
The event is held next to Schickram’s Car Wash (Rose Street) in Tamaqua. In case of heavy rain, the event will be moved to Sunday (same times).
