The Tamaqua YMCA will be having an Open House on Friday, September 5, 2014 from 5 PM to 8 PM. The ribbon cutting will take place around 5:30 PM.
They recently expanded their facility by 5,075 square feet and added new state-of-the-art equipment. The facility expansion included a party room, fitness room, aerobic studio, group exercise center, state-of-the-art equipment and more.
The cost of the expansion totaled about $200,000, with the cost of the new equipment totaled about $135,000.
In addition to local  staff, representatives from our headquarters will also be on-hand.
Tamaqua YMCA currently has about 1,900 members.
