Sunny weather made for perfect Labor Day fun during yesterday’s (Monday, September 1, 2014) 16th Annual Zoostock held on the grounds of the Sports Zoo/Halftime Sports Bar in Lansford.
Visitors enjoyed food, face painting, games, music, prizes, dunk tank and more.
Taking their spot in the dunk tank were Louie Closer, Marissa Bonetsky, Nate Phillips and Kaylee.

In addition, the event also consisted of free entertainment by Lyle Mantz, Cody Sassaman, Colin Jones with Jason Kuhla, Brad and Luke and the Jersey Cartwrights, For the People, The Brand, Toolshed Jack, A.D.D., emcee Ann Marie Calabrese of “Stuck in the ‘80s” on Magic 105.5 WMGH.
Proceeds benefited the Carbon/Schuylkill Unit of the American Cancer Society. The total of the event will be announced during the 2015 ACS Telethon (CancerTelethon.org).
Organizers stated their appreciation to all the sponsors, visitors and volunteers.
