Jonathon Zeiders of Harrisburg was arrested by Mahanoy City Police Department following a controlled buy and foot chase on West Market Street in the borough that left one officer with injuries.

Information from the Mahanoy City Police Department’s Facebook page reads:
“Mahanoy City Police have arrested Jonathon Zeiders of Harrisburg for Possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, Possession of a controlled substance, Aggravated Assault, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and resisting arrest. Officers conducted a controlled buy from Zeiders for marijuana on W. Market St in the Borough. After the buy was complete, Officers attempted to take Zeiders into custody which resulted in a foot pursuit. Once Officers caught up with Zeiders a struggle ensued which left 1 officer with injuries. Zeiders was taken into custody, arraigned and committed to the Schuylkill County Prison.”
