FALL ‘MEET THE RAIDERS’ HELD AT TAMAQUA SPORTS STADIUM (VIDEO); RAIN CUTS EVENT SHORT

Meet The Raiders, TASD Sports Stadium, Tamaqua, 8-27-2014 (22)aThe Tamaqua Area School District held its annual fall “Meet the Raiders” Night yesterday (Wednesday, August 27, 2014) at the district’s Sports’ Stadium.
The event was held to give recognition to all fall sports’ participants, cheerleaders and coaches.
Rain and lightening shortened the event. All sports, but football, were able to be recognized prior to the rain. The band was not able to perform its field show as well.
