The  Zoo Crew’s 16th Annual ‘Zoostock’ is planned for Monday, September 1, 2014 (Labor Day) from 12 PM to 8 PM on the grounds of the Sports Zoo/Halftime Sports Bar in Lansford.
The multi-band event is held to benefit the Carbon/Tamaqua Unit of the American Cancer Society.
Sports Zoo is located at 390 West Snyder Avenue.
It will be held rain or shine. Everyone is encouraged to bring a lawn chair or a blanket. There will be food, beverages, entertainment, souvenir t-shirts, souvenir cups and wristbands as well as activities for the kids. This year’s Zoostock will also include a dunk-tank.
Entertainment will consist of Lyle Mantz, Cody Sassaman, Colin Jones with Jason Kuhla, Brad and Luke and the Jersey Cartwrights, For the People, The Brand, Toolshed Jack and A.D.D.
Ann Marie Calabrese of Coolbreeze Imaging and host of “Stuck in the ‘80s” on Magic 105.5 WMGH will serve as emcee.
Proceeds benefit the Carbon/Tamaqua Unit of the American Cancer Society. Last year’s combined Zoo Crew events enabled the crew to present the ACS with $23,000 during the annual televised telethon.
