St. Luke’s Miners Campus Home Health Division in Coaldale announced it has been named a 2013 Guardian of Excellence Award winner by Press Ganey Associates, Inc. The Guardian of Excellence Award recognizes top-performing facilities that consistently achieved the 95th percentile of performance in patient satisfaction.
The Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence award is a health care industry symbol of achievement. Fewer than 5 percent of all Press Ganey clients reach this threshold and consistently maintain it for the one year reporting period. Press Ganey partners with more than 10,000 health care facilities, including more than half of all U.S. hospitals, to measure and improve the patient experience.

In addition, our nurses live in the communities they serve so there is often a connection between the nurse and the patient beyond the scope of the care giving.”
St. Luke’s Miners Campus Home Health Division is based in Tamaqua. Accredited by the Joint Commission, St. Luke’s Miners Campus Home Health Division provides a wide variety of health care services to individuals who are permanently or temporarily homebound. The Home Health Division is affiliated with the nationally recognized St. Luke’s University Health Network and currently provides more than 16,000 home visits annually in Carbon, Schuylkill and Lower Luzerne counties.
