TAMAQUA AREA YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION CELEBRATES 25 YEARS; (VIDEO)

The Tamaqua Area Youth Soccer Association (TAYSA) celebrated its 25 anniversary during an outdoor celebration held yesterday (Friday, August 8, 2014) at the sports field above the Tamaqua Elementary School in Tamaqua.
President Jim Fisher and Vice President Steve Campomizzi stated the association’s appreciation to all the players, parents, sponsors and supporters.
Campomizzi added that the roster in 1989 was only 78 players. This year’s roster is 330; which consists of twelve county teams, seven U-8 (ages 4-5), and six U-6 (ages 6-7).
