Silberline Manufacturing Company of Hometown is matching donation and ticket sales up to $10,000 during today’s (Tuesday, August 5, 2014) Tamaqua Salvation Army ‘Kidz Karnival’ at the Train Station parking lot (along North Railroad Street). The carnival, which lasts from 2 PM to 9 PM, includes numerous activities, food and games. A booklet of tickets cost $10. Game prices vary.
“Your $10 donation actually represents a $20 donation thanks to the generosity of Silberline Manufacturing,” said Major Sharon Whispell, Tamaqua Salvation Army.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Tamaqua Salvation Army.
