Firefighters from Nesquehoning Hose Company No. 1, Hauto and New Columbus Fire Company responded to an equipment fire call shortly after 4 PM yesterday (Sunday, August 3, 2014) at the Panther Creek Power Operating LLC (located on Dennison Road) in Nesquehoning. They arrived to see a Volvo front-end loader fully engulfed in flames.
Nesquehoning Police and Ambulance also responded.
Due to the extent of the damage, Nesquehoning Fire Chief John McArdle said that it will be hard to determine the cause of the fire.
