BENEFIT HELD IN MCADOO FOR LANSFORD FIRE VICTIMS

Cause For Collins Benefit, V.F.W., McAdoo, 8-3-2014 (2)Friends and family members came together yesterday (Sunday, August 3, 2014) at the McAdoo V.F.W. in support a Lansford family that lost most of their belongings in a house fire on May 27, 2014. Affected were father Joe Collins, mother Stephanie, and 4 children – ages 1-week, 2, 7 and 8.
The event, titled ‘A Cause for the Collins’, included three bands, tricky trays and a bake sale.
Live entertainment was donated via The Kraven MooreHed Band, CroTek and Hooligan.
The V.F.W. is located at 16 South Kennedy Drive (SR309) in McAdoo.
Key volunteers April Hagans of McAdoo, John Kostanesky (S.H. J & J Enterprises) of Beaver Meadows and Jerry Fisher (F.S.R. Productions) stated their appreciation to all the supporters of the event. They added their appreciation to the McAdoo V.F.W. and to Mrs. Croshaw of Freeland for donating 11 bake sale items and other items.
