Friends and family members are holding a benefit today (Sunday, August 3, 2014) from 1 PM to 7 PM at the McAdoo V.F.W. to benefit a Lansford family that lost most of their belongings in a house fire on May 27, 2014. Affected were father Joe Collins, mother Stephanie, 3 children, and one on the way.
The event, titled ‘A Cause for the Collins’, includes three bands, tricky trays and a bake sale.
Live entertainment will be via The Kraven MooreHed Band, CroTek and Hooligan. Cost is $7 donation at the door.
The V.F.W. is located at 16 South Kennedy Drive (SR309) in McAdoo.
