Volunteers with Lansford’s Community Garden are holding a ‘Lettuce Picking & Kids Day’ at the garden today (Monday, July 28, 2014) starting at 6 PM.
Organizers say they will have a number of fun games for the kids to play. They added that the event is free and all are invited.
The garden is located at the intersection of Center and Bertsch Streets in Lansford.
