LUDLOW PARK 5K RUN/WALK HELD IN SUMMIT HILL TO BENEFIT HISTORICAL SOCIETY; (VIDEO)

Ludlow Park 5K Run, Walk, benefited Historical Society, Summit Hill, 7-26-2014 (46)Organizers held their 1st Annual 5K Ludlow Park Run/Walk yesterday morning (Saturday, July 26, 2014) in Summit Hill to benefit the Summit Hill Historical Society.
The event, titled Ludlow Park 5K Run/Walk started at the Ludlow Park on West Ludlow Street (in the area of 133 West Holland Street) and continued out and back mostly on Stoney Lonesome Road in Summit Hill (Switchback Trail). The race was a gradual downhill for the first half and gradual uphill on the way back. A water station was provided at about the halfway point.
Taking top place in the run were first place John Martino, 30 (17:34); second place Marina Orrson, 23 (18:12); third place Willie Streisel, 15 (18:19); fourth place Adam Bahrey, 16 (18:32); and fifth place Robert Muscovitch, 39 (20:22).
