
Youth ages 10 to 18 were given the opportunity to express their creative sides during a Youth Clay Camp held this week by the Black Diamond Pottery (BDP) at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center.
The class taught them numerous skills related to pottery, clay and ceramics.
Instructor Craig Bulger praised the youth for their hard work and dedication to their pieces.
Bulger added that BDP offers regular classes throughout the week.
Weekly class times are:
MONDAY’S (Pottery and Ceramics): 1 PM to 3 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM.
THURSDAY’S (Youth Pottery and Ceramics) (Ages 10 and Up): 6 PM to 8 PM.
SATURDAY’S (Pottery and Ceramics): 11 AM to 1 PM.
Other class times or private instruction is also available by appointment. The center also offers birthday’s and private parties.
