Members of the Tamaqua Volunteers community initiative group are encouraging residents to speak up when seeing anyone litter in the borough. They added that any resident can call the Tamaqua Police at (570) 668-5000 to report any form of littering.
Pictured yesterday (Thursday, July 24, 2014) is litter thrown between two of the train rail cars located adjacent to the Tamaqua Train Station. The area was cleaned by volunteers less than three weeks ago.
