TWO WOMEN INJURED AFTER THEIR VAN OVERTURNS ALONG SR54 IN RUSH TOWNSHIP

Overturned Vehicle, MVA, Lafayette Avenue, Hometown, Rush Township, 7-22-2014 (12)Two women suffered unknown injuries after overturning their vehicle around 6:30 PM today (Tuesday, July 22, 2014) along SR54 (Lafayette Avenue) in Hometown (Rush Township).
The incident occurred just east of the Ye Old Hauto Road intersection. The vehicle was traveling west when it overturned.
Responding were Rush Township Police, Hometown Fire Company, Lehighton Ambulance, Ryan Township Emergency and Rescue Squad/Ambulance and others.
Hope’s Towing removed the vehicle (a grey Chevrolet Ventura).
Injuries didn’t appear life-threatening.
Investigating officer is Rush Township Police officer Adam Sinton.
Hometown Fire Police directed traffic around the area for the duration.
