Friends and family are holding a benefit today (Sunday, June 29, 2014) at Freddy’ Pub in Tamaqua for the late Carmelo “Chino” Sotomayor. The benefit, which starts at 2 PM and last throughout the late evening, will help his daughter Jessica Moyer and other family members with funeral costs. Sotomayor passed away June 4, 2014. Organizers on Facebook stated that there will be lots of food, a 50/50 raffles, basket raffles and entertainment.
Admission is $5. Music is provided by Dj Levitate Ugly Mustard and Dj Born.
Freddy’s Pub is located at 16 Mauch Chunk Street in Tamaqua.
