Emergency responders from multiple municipalities are still on scene following a house fire around 5:30 PM  today (Sunday, June 22, 2014) along the 200 block of East Lloyd Street in Shenandoah. Firefighters, who were called for a kitchen fire, arrived to see fire and heavy smoke coming from 204 East Lloyd Street.
Witnesses, on Facebook, say that the smoke was so thick, at one time, that they couldn’t see the fire trucks or homes.
Responding were emergency responders from Shenandoah, Shenandoah Heights, Mahanoy City, Ryan Township, Pottsville, Frackville and so on.
