Members of the Tamaqua Lions Club are holding their annual Chicken BBQ today (Saturday, June 14, 2014) in Tamaqua.
Proceeds from the event will benefit all Tamaqua area fire companies and emergency services.
BBQ chickens will be for sale at two locations during the day.
The first will be from 12 PM to 3 PM at the Tamaqua Community Park (Bungalow Park) on Catawissa Street.
The second will be from 3 PM to 7 PM at Hang Loose (300 East Broad Street) in Tamaqua.
The event is eat-in or take-out. Cost is a donation of $8.00. Held rain or shine.
