Members of the Coaldale American Legion Post 170, with support of the Coaldale Sons of the Legion, Coaldale VFW and Coaldale UVO, held their bi-annual Flag Retirement Ceremony today (Friday, June 13, 2014) outside the Coaldale Fire Company.
During the program, Jimmy Rickert, Legion post Commander, talked about the importance of honoring all who wear the flag, to include military personnel, firefighters, ambulance crews, police and others.
Israel Gonzalez volunteered his DJ services for the event.
