PHOTOS, VIDEO FROM SECONDARY MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE AT TAMAQUA AMERICAN LEGION

Below are photos and video from the Tamaqua American Legion’s second Memorial Day Service held outside their post. This secondary service is held every year outside the Legion for those who are unable to traverse the hill during their first Memorial Day Service held at Soldier’s Circle in the Odd Fellow’s Cemetery.
During the service, legion member Ed Smith presented a ceremonial wreath to Nancy Kabana in honor of her late husband Larry Kabana who passed away recently. Larry served as Tamaqua’s Post Commander upon his passing.
Speakers were Smith, Andrew Leibenguth and Tamaqua Mayor Chris Morrison.
