22 graduates received their diplomas yesterday (Wednesday, June 4, 2014) evening during the St. Jerome Regional School’s Eight Grade Class Graduation Ceremony held in the St. Jerome Church in Tamaqua.

Graduating were Gianna M. Agosti, Kyle J. Binder, John F. Burns, Angela N. Ceci, Nicholas A. Cerimele, Matthew F. Cervasio, Madison A. Frye, Gabriel E. Gregoire, Kyle A. Kapish, Nicholas Kerestus, Carly G. Kosciolek, Joleen L. Luchetta, Emily M. Meier, Zachary P. Miller, Catherine E. O’Lear, Zaccary D. Roberts, Casey A. Rother, Chase D. Shustack, Noah R. Shustack, Christian T. Slane, Sophia A. Susarchick and Maizy H. Troxell.
Program information:
Displaying the flags were students Gabriel Gregoire and Noah Shustack.
Call to worship was read by Casey Rother.
Providing the first reading was student Nicholas Cerimele.
Responsorial Psalm was read by student Maizy Troxell.
Reading the Universal Prayer was student Matthew Cervasio.
Assisting in the presentation of the gifts were students John Burns, Nicholas Kerestus and Zaccary Roberts.
Helping with the presentation of flowers were students Gianna Agosti and Sophia Susarchick.
Presenting diplomas and awards were Father Frink, Father Linkchorst, Principal Mary Ann Mansell and Mrs. Leslie Confer.
The back of the program included a thank you statement from the school addressing the parents, teachers and friends. It read:
“We are so happy that you were able to be with us this evening to celebrate our graduation. We have been truly blessed with loving and supportive parents, teachers and friends. For this, we are grateful to the Lord.
We would like express our sincere gratitude to the priests of our parishes for their spiritual guidance.
We are deeply appreciative of the efforts of our teachers in developing in us true Christian ideals and attitudes for daily living.
And to our parents, those special people, who have unselfishly worked to give us the best of everything, we extend our heartfelt gratitude and prayers.
Thank you most sincerely for the part you have played in bringing us together, May the Lord grant you His richest blessings.”
