TAMAQUA MAN SOUGHT IN RELATION TO STABBING INCIDENT ON PINE STREET; VICTIM AND ASSAILANT WERE ROOMMATES

Location of Stabbing, Pine Street, Tamaqua, 6-2-2014 (5) — Both the victim and the alleged assailant lived together at 231 Pine Street (pictured). The stabbing allegedly took placed across the street in the area in front of 220 Pine Street.

UPDATE: Witness said Tamaqua Police took Thomas Ruzzano into custody around 3:15 PM today (Tuesday, May 3, 2014)

According to TNonline.com, Tamaqua police are looking for a man in relation to a stabbing incident that occurred in the borough around 8 PM on Saturday (May 31, 2014).
The story adds:
Randy Gilson, 51, and Thomas Ruzzano, 44, both of 231 Pine Street in Tamaqua, were involved in a fight in front of 220 Pine Street when Gilson was stabbed in the stomach.
Ruzzano is still at large and is expected to face two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of simple assault, recklessly endangering another, harassment and disorderly conduct.
Gilson was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem.
According to a May 13, 2011 story in the Times News, Ruzzano was jailed after failing to control his anger management problems.
