Parishioners and volunteers with St. John’s United Church of Christ in Tamaqua donated hundreds, if not a thousand, items to the Tamaqua Volunteer group’s Community Giveaway. The items were left over following a rummage sale at the church. They added their appreciation to all who donated and volunteered.
The next donation drop-off/giveaway event is set for this Saturday (May 31, 2014) next to Schickram’s Car Wash in Tamaqua. Donation drop-off is from 8 AM to 9 AM.
