Volunteers with the Tamaqua/Panther Valley Girl Scouts hosted a comedy night last weekend at the Walker Township/New England Fire Company in support of their trip to Europe scheduled for June 2015.
The 3-comedian show, an adult-only event, included comedians Marc Juretus, Corey Alexander and headliner Stan Stankos.
Food and refreshments were also available via the fire company.
50 people, to include about 23 girl scouts are hoping to take part in the Europe trip.
