HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!!

Putting Last of Hero Banners Up in Tamaqua, 5-26-2014 (117)Jim Barron uses a bucket truck to put a Hero Banner up in Downtown Tamaqua.
Barron, who retired from the borough March of last year, and his father-n-law Jack Tuite, 86, a WWII and Korean war veteran, donated their time earlier this week placing the last Hero Banners up in downtown Tamaqua, just in time for Memorial Day.
Linda Yulanavage and Eileen Barron, of the Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce, stated their appreciation for those who have showed support and patience, as well as those who’ve helped install the banners.
The Chamber announced that they are no longer taking names.
