Ted Bortnick, left, and David Hiles decided to show off their patriotism today (Friday, May 23, 2014) by placing 250 American flags on the front lawn of Hiles Brothers Plumbing and Heating (along SR902) in Summit Hill. Lisa Hiles, who took these photos, also helped.
Summit Hill’s Memorial Day Service will start at 10 AM on Monday at Ludlow Park, with parade to follow at 11 AM. Jack Bryant, 67, a Navy veteran, will serve as Grand Marshal of the parade. The service and parade are organized by the Summit Hill American Legion.
For more information about the parade, call parade committee chairman Tom Vermillion at (570) 233-7098 or visit www.SummitHillParade.com. Bobby O’Gurek designed and maintains the well-made website.
