The Tamaqua Community Arts Center held their regular “Paint and Sip” event recently at the center. The artistic theme was “Japanese Bridge.”
“The event serves as a fun night out painting, sipping and laughing with your friends,” said center coördinator Leona Rega. She added that no painting or artistic experience is necessary to attend the events.
The events last from 6 PM to 9 PM on the days it is scheduled. Event cost is $40 at the door, which includes all materials. Organizers say that all you have to bring is your favorite beverage, lots of smiles and laughs.
Leona added that in addition to the regular Paint and Sip events, they also have a Paint and Laugh event once a month for kids. The classes are instructed by Phillip Krivenko.
For more information or to reserve a spot, call (570) 668-1192 or email Rega at leona@tacp.info. “The events are designed for you to be a one night wonder,” added Rega. “Your work will be ready to hang on your wall when you leave.”
