“There was a lot of damage,” said McAdoo resident and firefighter Vincent “Vinny” Chitswara, describing his experience during a hail storm yesterday (Thursday, May 22, 2014) in Berks County. “Traffic was backed up everywhere.”
Chitswara, who was driving a work vehicle at the time, said the first hail storm hit him in West Reading (Berks County) around 3:15 PM. “The hail was the size of golf balls,” said Chitswara. “A short while later, another storm hit me on SR222 in Muhlenburg (Berks County).”
