REMEMBERING THE HAIL STORM OF 2011; LIKE TODAY, IT OCCURRED THURSDAY BEFORE MEMORIAL DAY

Various parts of Pennsylvania were hit with hail and high winds today (Thursday, May 22, 2014). This was only 4 days shy of the 3-year anniversary of a similar strength hail storm that struck Tamaqua and other parts of Schuylkill County on Thursday, May 26, 2011. Both occurred the Thursday before Memorial Day.
