Members of the Schuylkill-Carbon Fraternal Order (FOP) of Police Lodge 13 held their annual memorial service yesterday (Monday, May 19, 2014) outside their lodge along Owl Creek Road in Tamaqua.
The service included a flag lowering, dedication readings, prayer, a firing detail, and playing of the bugle. Members also read the names of 82 local FOP officers who’ve passed away.
