
Five people were arrested, and 67 bags of heroin seized, during a drug bust held by the Mahanoy City and Mahanoy Township police departments yesterday (Monday, May 19, 2014). Those arrested were Kyle Merenda of Barnesville, George Kraynak Jr. of Hazleton, Michael Price of Mahanoy City, Richele Robinson of Hazleton, and Molly McGuire of Mahanoy City.
Information from the Mahanoy City Police Department’s Facebook page says:
Last night, May 19, 2014, five people went to jail on various drug related charges. In total, 67 bags of heroin were seized. All five were arraigned by on-call duty Magistrate Christine Hale and committed to Schuylkill County prison.
– Kyle Merenda, 27 Shady Lane in Barnesville: POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DELIVER, UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.
– George Kraynak Jr., 209 Beaver Brook Road in Hazleton: POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DELIVER, UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.
– Michael Price, 401 E. Mahanoy Avenue in Mahanoy City: THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING, RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY.
– Richele Robinson, 538 N. Locust Street in Hazleton: POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DELIVER, UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALI.
– Molly McGuire, 122 W. Birch Street in Mahanoy City: UNLAWFUL DELIVERY OR MANUFACTURE OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING, RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY, POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.
