Parishioners and volunteers of the New Life Assembly of God (NLAG) in Tamaqua held their first annual ‘Feed The Need’ event on Saturday (May 10, 2014) for Tamaqua residents.
During the event, families received groceries and clothing at the church’s Blessing Shoppe. Families were also treated to a free lunch, free haircuts and many activities.
The event also included music by MSSM Circuit Riders.
Pastor Ed and Rosemarie Noftz stated the church’s appreciation to all who volunteered during the event. “Tamaqua has a need,” said Rosemarie. “We offered a practical need.”
