
A senior recognition was held recently for the 3 seniors of the Tamaqua High School Baseball Team before the start of the Division 1 Schuylkill League game between Tamaqua and North Schuylkill.
Mike Hromyak Jr., Tamaqua Athletics Director and Public Relations Coordinator, served as the speaker for the event.
“On behalf of our head coach Jeff Reading and his assistant coaches, we would like to take this time to congratulate the boys on outstanding baseball careers and thank them for the hard work and dedication they have put forth in this base program,” said Hromyak.
Recognized were seniors Adam Bates, Ian Nicholls and Matt Roberts.
Bates plans to play baseball with Penn State.
Nicholls plans to attend UTI for automotive diesel and advance careers from there.
Roberts plans to attend Penn State with major in Biology.
