Firefighters and forestry crews are on scene of a brush fire in the area of 151 Back Road in Barnesville, Ryan Township.
On scene or responding are Delano Fire Company, Ryan Township Fire Company, Heckscherville Brush Crew, Llewellyn Forestry Crew (Good Intent Hose Company No. 1), Tamaqua’s South Ward Fire Company Forestry Crew and others.
The first calls came out after 2:15 PM today (Tuesday, May 6, 2014). Firefighters were scene responding two hours later.
