Photos on Facebook show Tamaqua and State Police performing raids on two homes in Tamaqua Thursday (May 1, 2014) evening. Witnesses, who wish to remain anonymous, said the raided homes were 308 Washington Street and 32 West Elm Street. The witnesses added that police also removed a noticeable amount of items from the home on West Elm Street. It is unknown if anyone was arrested, although unofficial information from witnesses say that a man and two women might have been taken into custody. No more information is available.
