The annual Schuylkill Keep It Pretty (SKIP) Spring Cleanup  in Tamaqua will be held tomorrow (Saturday, April 26, 2014) from 9 AM to 12 PM.
Anyone interested in helping is encouraged to meet at the M&T Bank parking lot near the Five Points intersection (US209 and SR309).
Garbage bags, gloves and safety vests will be provided.
In addition, another group will be cleaning up parts of the South Ward. Any volunteers are encouraged to meet at the South Ward Playground.
Kevin Steigerwalt, Tamaqua Borough Manager, said any resident can take part in the cleanup by picking up litter on their sidewalk and in their yards.
