Members of the Kellner’s Dam Association are holding their annual Kid’s Spring Fishing Derby this Saturday and Sunday (April 26 and 27, 2014) at the dam in Tamaqua.
Saturday’s registration starts at 7 AM, with fishing starting at 9 AM. Sunday’s fishing starts at daybreak and ends at 4 PM.
The derby, open to any kid’s 4 to 15 years of age, is a free-admission event. It includes door prizes, tagged fish and trophies.
Homemade refreshments will also be available.
Kellner’s Dam is located at the top of Pitt Street.
