A SMOOTH ROAD IN LANSFORD

Workers spent the last few days replacing and paving a large section of roadway along the 200 block of East Bertsch Street in Lansford.
“It is smoooooooth… you feel like you are driving on air,” said borough resident Tom Applegate on Facebook.
He added, “However, there is one… side effect to the paving project….everyone feels the parking spaces are “smaller” than they use to be. This is true…. the neighbors across the street said there is now “another” parking space… so the lines are closer together than they were previously. At least on the diagonal parking. Another change is we never used to have the full lines… just little “crosshairs” before.
