Volunteers are hosting an Acoustic Concert, Soup and Fudge Sale today (Friday, March 28, 2014) at the Tamaqua Elks Lodge. Proceeds will benefit the 2014 ACS Telethon on April 5th and 6th.
The concert performance is in honor and memory of all cancer patients, family and friends that we have supported over the last year.
Performers will consist of Jack Kulp, Francis Kernan, LeRoy Musselman, Lyle Mantz, Terry Schaffer and possibly others.
All donations will be presented at the Schuylkill/Carbon American Cancer Society 2014 Telethon at Penn’s Peak on April 5th during the 3AM performance. Donation forms are available.
Soups are $5.00 a Quart. (Bean Soup, Stuffed Pepper Soup, or Manhattan Clam Chowder).
Chocolate-Peanut Butter Fudge will be $10.00 a pound.
All pick-ups for Soup and Fudge will be March 28, 2014.
