Emergency personnel responded around 7:35 AM today (Wednesday, March 26, 2014) to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of SR309 and Tide Road (near the Hometown Commons) in Hometown.
The incident involved a white and gray Ford F-150 pickup truck and a black Volkswagen.
Responding were Hometown Fire Company and Rush Township Police. Tamaqua Ambulance was also dispatched to treat the individuals in the vehicles.
Hometown and Quakake Fire Police controlled traffic around the scene.
Hope’s Towing and Collision removed the vehicles.
